Baylor Scott & White Health & Wellness Center (BSW HWC)

Currently training CHWs in 14 TCA schools have had 39 students complete their certification requirements. Two more graduations at the end of next month.

El Centro College

The Community Health Care Worker certification program through Dallas College is comprised of two classes, and upon completion, students may be certified as Community Health Workers (CHW) through the Department of State Health Services.  Many Dallas residents qualify for tuition coverage through the Dallas College WorkReadyU program, helping to make this an affordable option leading to a career in a fast-growing and increasingly important area of Health Science.  For more information, please visit us at
